Firstly, I hope that you, your family, and friends remain safe and well during these challenging times. While it remains unclear as to what the immediate future will bring, I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that Heritage have adapted the way we work to ensure we can continue to meet our commitments to our clients, whilst following Government guidelines at all times.
To ensure the health & safety of our community we have taken the decision to temporarily close both of our offices to visitors, with staff working from home.
To ensure that we are able to provide you with the service you need, we are offering online meetings (using technology such as Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp, Facetime & Messenger) as well as telephone appointments. Due to the current situation we are working very hard to get your documents to you as soon as possible though may take up a little longer than usual. We are also offering to send documents electronically, to be printed and signed in your home.
Many of you have your Will safely stored with us as part of our Client Care Package. You may be aware the Client Care Package also gives you an annual Will update at no extra cost, access to our Executor helpline, registration with Certainty – the National Will register and the opportunity to store other documents with us. Lasting Powers of Attorney
If you have a Lasting Power of Attorney, it is important to ensure that it is registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) so that it becomes a legally binding document.
